      Kitchen Remodels

We find that when it comes to kitchen remodels you can go a few different ways. Here are three of the most common remodels:

      1. The first is removing walls to open up the space. If you are looking for a contractor that can tell you if you can remove a wall or not Kirk's Remodeling is an expert in doing this. We can tell you if it is load baring or not and how we are still able to remove it and engineer it, to still open the space.

Below are some examples of jobs that had walls that were removed.

        Kitchen Remodel Refinishing Cabinets

The second most common remodel would be your kitchen just in a need of a face lift Refinishing the cabinet doors and drawers may be a way to go. Here are a few pointers to see if you are able to do that or not.

        1. Are your cabinets in good shape? If they are then great that's number one priority.
        2. Are you wanting to Paint or Stain? If you are wanting to paint existing stained cabinets it is less costly, if you are wanting to go with a darker stain there is a lot more labor involved in doing this but not impossible.
        3. Do you want Soft Closing Doors and Drawers? If you do want soft closing doors and drawers this requires having new Doors and Drawers made specifically because of the hardware. The cabinets can stay the same how ever depending on the old hardware there might be some extra time in prepping the cabinets to fill holes and add bracing for new hardware.

Below are some examples of Kitchens that had a face lift by refinishing the cabinets.

Start From Scratch and Go All New

The third and most common kitchen remodel is tearing out and going all new. Kirk's Remodeling background in interior design can help you make the most of your kitchen. Completely tearing out a kitchen going down to the studs and starting from scratch can give your kitchen space new life. All of our Cabinets are designed custom for your space. Do you want to have a walk in pantry? Great we can add that. Do you want full pull out shelves above your refrigerator? We do that too! Would you like a custom storage area for your Kitchen Aid so it can be put away when not in use?We have done that as well. We can design an open window concept to show off your view rather than a tile back splash. Kirk's Remodeling will turn your kitchen into your dream kitchen.

Below are some examples of kitchens that have been completely teared out and started from scratch.
