About Us

Donnie Kirk has always had the ability to look at a space and envision how it could be better. After studying interior architecture at Kansas State University, Donnie decided he wanted to get out from behind the drawing table, and start working personally on home improvements with the homeowner. Thus, Kirk’s Remodeling and Custom Homes Inc. was established in 1984 as a way for him to follow his passion and hone his chosen craft.

His commitment to quality and his drive to ensure customer satisfaction have always been at the heart of Donnie’s work. For over 36 years, he has been going in to houses, and giving homeowners the homes they’ve always wanted. Using only quality materials and tested practices, Donnie helps conceive a vision with a homeowner, and leaves only when he’s delivered that dream.

Helping with that vision is one of the most rewarding parts of the process, and Donnie enjoys it as he sits down with each customer, sketching and refining until a plan is ready, and then remains the point of contact throughout the project, helping to answer any questions or deal with any concerns that may arise during the project.

Kirk's Remodeling has always been a family run business and since Donnie's son Josh Kirk has joined he plans on keeping that tradition going. Josh's background includes over 12 years of experience working construction but also his degrees from Kansas State University in General Management and Entrepreneurship have helped Kirk's Remodeling grow into the future. Now offering customers 3D design of their project, online conferencing for follow up appointments is just the start.
